sorry but I find the glass-covered modern buildings and their brutalist cousins to be totally soulless

I work in a famous brutalist city hall.

Given that federal buildings are such a small percentage of buildings, I see no problem with all future federal buildings being in the Neo-Classical style. There are plenty of opportunities for greater architectural expression in the far greater number of privately-owned buildings.

If the new ruling merely stops the ugliest designs (Brutalist, Deconstructionists, etc.) from being constructed and substitutes average Neo-Classical designs, then I am fine with it.
